steeler superbowl crunkfest 2009!

I love hosting parties...for any occasion or reason or for no reason at all. I love having people over and preparing some kind of menu, even if that menu just includes a few flavors of chips and alcoholic beverages.
I've always enjoyed going to house parties about 1000x more than going out to a bar and that's always been my preference. Conversations and attitudes just seem to be so much more relaxed and stimulating rather than having to scream over music and stepping in vomit mixed with Red Bull on the floor.

On that note: Tthis year marks Pacemont Manor's first Superbowl party! Now, I barely knew/cared who was playing in the game but I knew we had to throw a party for it! Since Pittsburgh was my closest city growing up, I guess I was slightly excited.

We wanted to have some kind of food theme going in to the party, and we decided on PRIMANTI BROTHERS SANDWICHES. That deserves all CAPS because they might be the greatest sandwiches of all time. They are a Pittsburgh legacy and it's making me salivate as I'm typing this. They basically consist your choice of grilled meats and then are topped with mandatory french fries and cole slaw. Your arteries clogged just by reading it.

Someone brought puppy chow (the chex mix with peanut butter, chocolate and covered in powdered sugar) and I hate a few nibbles of it. By the end of the night, I was so full of other food that I convinced myself that I had gotten salmonella from the peanut butter. Obviously I was incorrect and my system was fine.

Everyone brought delicious food including meatballs, pierogies, potato salad, dips, chips, etc. The party was a great success AND the Steelers won! Yayyy.

May all your sandwiches be topped with coleslaw and french fries!

The Primanti sandwiches in all their grease & glory!

fButter.org, coleslaw, meats and more meats, plentiful amounts of cheese.

Lindsay, Christina, me, Allie snuggling up on the couch.

The view of the second TV room which didn't have a delay like the TV in the living room. The hardcore fans moved into this room during the heat of the game.
Allie made Steeler cookies with their jersey #s.

Lindsay being an alcoholic.

Celebration dance full of homoeroticism.
